After the 5 min. ferry ride to Long Island stay on the paved road for 9 km. At 2 places you will come to a V in the road, keep RIGHT each time staying on the paved road. Eventually you will drive along Ward's Harbour (on your left). The road will curve sharply to the right as you're going up a hill. The cottage is on the left where the pavement ends. The cottage is located at 3 Quintons Cove Rd. It will take at least 45 minutes to get from the Trans Canada highway to the ferry. Directions from the Trans Canada highway: Take Route 380 at South Brook. Travel 34 km to Pilley's Island. Just past the gas station on Pilley's Island turn LEFT onto Route 382. Follow Route 382 (a gravel road) for 7 km until you reach the ferry. |
