What is there to do and see?

Lushes Bight-Beaumont is one of six communities
along the Beothuk Trail in the Green Bay area. An
extinct Indian tribe known as the Beothuk's lived off
the land in this area.
First, South Brook home of South Brook salmon river
and Kona Beach Park.
Second, Robert's Arm with it's legendary lake
monster, Cressie. At Crescent Lake Inn you get a
Jiggs Dinner on Sundays and Fish Platter Fridays.
Third, Pelley's Island with a suspected ancient
volcano and it's Heritage Museum exhibiting local
arifacts.
Forth, Triton has a 4 km Triton Trail, a Heritage Home
and boat tours.
Fifth, Brighton has the Costal Trail that overlooks
Green Bay.

Finally, there is Lushes Bight-Beaumont. Once you are in Beaumont the resting and
relaxing can begin. A walk around the harbour will bring you to the beginning of a boardwalk
trail leading to two gazebos with breath-taking views of Long Island and the
Atlantic Ocean.
Long Island also features an accessible seaside cave at North China Head for the
adventurer. The rock ceiling inside is pure white and Beothuk artifacts were removed from
here many years ago. Your days can be filled with berrypicking, hiking, swimming at Beaver
Park or walking around and getting to know the local "Newfies".
